Testing Today

Today me and mom are going over to OCC to take our COMPASS test. I already took mine before and had wonderful scores, but I am retaking it today because I can, and they will mix and match scores to take the best ones. Mom hasn't ever taken hers before, and is going to ride along to take hers too!

I am excited to see how well I do after being out of high school for almost 5 years! Im sure that we will both do fine, but send us some good vibes around 2:00 p.m. today :)

Official Tree Patrol

Tristan: Mommy, theres a creature in our Christmas Tree!!

Tristan: Awww... its Bella, come out and play with me Bella.

Tristan: Bella, get out of my tree, its not real. ITS NOT A REAL TREE BELLA, GET OUT OF IT, YOU ARE GOING TO BREAK MY TREE.

Tristan: Mommy, Bella is in my tree and wont get out.

Mommy: Its okay Tristan, Bella didn't get to dress up for Halloween, so shes a chipmunk for Christmas.

Tristan: OK

Wow really, I got off with that, today is a good day!

To much time

Will came home last night and found some cool stuff on the computer!! Im sure that there will be more to come!

Okay, so today, my Christmas Tree came out. It is set up in the living room. Its not fluffed to its full potential yet, but it is up. I am wanting to move our 60 inch tv now lol. (Sorry Will)

The ceiling v's up in the middle, so its a little taller. I thought that it would be more flattering, but I guess the 200 pound (?) TV is kinda gonna be a pain to move, but oh well. Christmas is only here once a year!

I am excited that I get to be at home with Tristan all day tomorrow, maybe we will work on the tree together!

Needing some new boots!

I have a special occasion in a few weeks, and am looking for some new sexy boots!! I am looking for black, high heeled zip up boots..... well Im searching Zappos, and I found these. They are Burberry, and are a little out of my price range, but Im going to keep looking. If all else fails, maybe an early present from Santa? hmmm

Today was different!

Today was different! I didn't have to worry about the alarm clock or rushing myself and Tristan out the door to work/daycare!

I got to spend my day fighting like a super hero along side my son! We had a blast today! I also got my kitchen cleaned up, my Christmas list started, and my war on laundry declared!

We even had enough time to grill out some pork chops on this beautiful day! I think this is going to be a good thing!

The time has come

The time has come for me to leave my family at Cellular One. We have spent some very good times together!!

Lets recap a few wonderful moments

I will never in all my life, even if I have extreme dementia forget when my dear friend Kathy caught a donut on fire in the microwave, and went running out the door as it was smoking like a freight train!!!! I have never ever laughed that hard! The whole store was polluted with most horrible smell imaginable. Customers commented on the smell, and all we could do was laugh! Thank You Kathy!

We always managed to have fun at work! I remember getting 3rd place in the Halloween contest last year!

To Rubin, and his keeper, I will miss your wagging tail, and your excitement! You are a good dog!

To my guys at the ambulance department, I love you guys!! You are great! I will miss the Saturday morning donuts! Thank You Brett for always remembering my favorite (jelly filled!!).

Some people miss that communication and thrive when someone is nice to them for no reason. I will truly miss being so involved with the community. I have an extended family in my customer base. I will worry about people when I'm gone. Working with so many people, I have taken in soooo much. Every person can give something new and better to your perspective!

I think back to how so much of that job kept me grounded going through some hard times. I survived and supported us because of that job.

On the other side, I am the happiest person in the world right now! I am going to get to spend so much more time with my wonderful son Tristan! I miss so much time with him right now with school and work. He won't have to go to daycare anymore, it will be good for both of us. Tristan is growing so fast, and I don't want to miss anything. His birthday is next month, he will be 3. His first birthday was also the day I started at Cellular One! CRAZY!!

I stepped over to the dark side..... and liked it!

Well today I got everything to set up my Verizon Wireless Internet. This went sooo well. Even though I am currently employed by Cellular One, I do have to say that Verizon has this Internet thing down! Yay DSL

Things are in the midst of changing. Its kinda scary, so much at one time. Ya know when you get those butterflies in your tummy for a minute, then suddenly its all over and calm....... Im ready for the calm!

Delicate Situations Suck

Well Im in between a rock and a hard place. Today while I was getting my eyes checked, Tristan and Will did the grocery shopping. Apparently some old lady saw them shopping and commented something to the effect of Will being Tristan's Daddy. He corrected the lady and told her that wasn't his Daddy, that was his Will! We came home, played with chalk outside when Tristan commenced to telling me that he has 2 Daddys.... I asked him what he was talking about, he told me he has his Daddy, and Will is his Daddy too.

Obviously I am without words.

Then to top off this crappy situation he tells his Daddy this evening the same thing. Now he's mad at me.... I tried to explain this to Tristan (this isn't the first time that he has said this), but he is still adamant that he wants Will to be his Daddy too.

I can't imagine how this made Travis (Daddy) feel, but I guess I can't blame Tristan, I mean he lives with me and Will.

I just needed to get this out. Any input or advice to help me keep my sanity would be greatly appreciated.
