Ok, my mom decided that she wants a pool, sounds simple enough right?
WRONG!!!!!
We look at Walmart online, and find what we want, call Effingham to make sure they have it they do, so we head that way.
Get to Effingham, find the pool, get it loaded into the cart (which is probably the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life) so finally after we stop laughing we got it into the cart.
Easy enough, done right......... NOPE!
So Mom decides that she should probably consult with her landlord before making this large purchase and having to go through all this again. We already have the pool chemicals in the cart, and all that good stuff. Mom can't reach her landlord, so she wants to just leave with everything in the cart. At this point, my patience with this whole experience is done!!!!!! DONE!!!!
I snap "No Mom, we ARE getting this pool, I don't care if you have to put it up at my house..... that pool is leaving this store with us, TODAY"!!!!!!
I finally convince her to try calling back......... she got a hold of the landlord, cleared it... and we headed to the checkout. At this point, I'm still thinking that its a great idea to put it up at my house........ granted Mom was buying this pool for my 8 year old sister lol. My Momma really didn't like this idea!
We got home, made a few calls for water, and started assembling it. My sister was being a pain, and not helpful at all for being the new recipient of a pool, so mom just told her. "Fine that is, I am gonna put this pool up, and your sister is going to swim in it." Hope says "NO, its my pool"!
Mom replied with "This is Ashley's Pool, now go inside!"
At this point its 10:00 at night, we have already had a Truck stuck in Mom's yard and short about 15 foot of hose from the truck not being close enough.
We called Uncle Charlie, and got some hose! Drained the tank, got the truck out, and called it a night.
The pool got the rest of the way filled next day!
Don't ever rush or complain about a pool assembly process.......... or your sister gets the pool.
So the pool is still at Mom's and its still "mine" :)
Tristan is turning into quite the fish! I love the little floatation devices that are built right into the suit! He is in "my pool" every chance he gets!!
