Today I took my Nursing Final for my LPN year of nursing! I MADE IT!!! It was a bitter sweet day, I saw many tears shed today, some for victory, and some for not making it. I know how hard all of us worked for this! I want to say congrats to everyone that was with me in this program. You all succeeded when it came to sacrificing your families and lives to try to better yourselves, I applaud you for that! Aside from our families, no one knows how hard this really is!
Being able to be the President of our Nursing Class has been amazing! I only hope I'm lucky enough to hold the position next year as well!
Now........... two weeks off, then back to the books! Looking forward to a year from now, when I have my RN! Wow! Time Flies!
So pretty much, see ya in a year Blogger!
Ohhhh wait!!! The best thing of my day today was picking up Tristan and telling him I passed my test! He jumped in my arms, and gave me more stickers than you could ever imagine. Because I did a good job! Him being proud of me is the best thing in the world!

Good Cheer
As the holidays have begun, I can't help but to feel intoxicated by every single moment. The crisp days, the smells of foods and Cinnamon, the sparkle and glitter, the twinkling lights in the windows. I love it all.
I realized something the other day. I haven't stopped to take in everything around me, and when I did, it hit me like a ton of bricks. Its time to enjoy what we have! You never really know how long this precious time will last.

Looking up...
Ya know, lately I have been having some unually good luck.
- I am doing great in nursing, and I am enjoying it too! Only two more tests and a final left this semester!
- Will recently got a better job at Effingham Truck Sales. His income ensures that I am able to recieve my education. I am thankful every day for that man! (Except in the mornings when no one is safe to speak to me :)
- Tristan.... my baby, watching him growing is sooo amazing. On a side note, now he is going to continue going to HeadStart because Travis agreed to let him go, and made all the arrangements for the bus.
- Thank You Travis, thank you. Its great to get along, seriously, its great, but not just for me, for Tristan. Im not perfect by any means and when you say things that make me angry I lash out at you because I hurt. I hurt that two people who shared so much time and energy together can't be civil. Hopefully we are growing right along with our son.
- Tuesday was such an amazing day, I (who never buys lottery tickets) bought a bingo ticket and won $20.
- Mom applied for the nursing program, and I am soooo proud of her for everything she has accomplished, I love you Momma!
- I attended Dollar Beer Night for the first time in forever, which was much needed.... I have the best friends anyone could ask for!
So, now that I have officially jinked myself I hope this luck doesn't change! I could really get used to this.

Tristan Started Head Start, and now its over.
Well Thursday was Tristan's first day of Head Start and I guess that was his last. I took him for his orientation and first day Thursday. The next day I find out his father didn't take him on Friday. Tristan just got home from a weekend with his Dad's and saw his backpack and asked about his new school. If his attendance doesn't meet their requirements then he is put back on the waiting list.
Since his father's side doesn't think that he needs to go, and that it is only for "welfare children" anyways, they have decided to take something away from Tristan that he would have really enjoyed. Why put him through the testing with needles if you didn't intend to let him go. Why would you knowingly take a child to a neat fun place knowing that you aren't gonna take him back.
Stupidity........... More and more I keep seeing how these people don't care who it hurts, even if it is Tristan.
Oh, and as for calling me a Bum for going to school and not working, Travis, you were the reason I never took my scholarships in the first place. I am not a Bum, I am a nursing student working towards a better and more fulfilling life for my family. Can you say that much?
This Bum is going to spend time with her family, and do some studying.

Blah Blah Blah
Well Im finally healing up from having my tonsils removed. School starts the day after tomorrow, and needless to say, I won't be eating much pizza at that pizza party.
We brought home Kilo finally and are very happy to have him as a new addition to our family. Every family needs a giant white german shepphard to keep them safe.
Seeing Tristan after two weeks was like the most wonderful feeling in the whole world! I love that young man more than life itself.
My mother is officially driving on the road now, and I couldn't be happier for her. After almost 20 years, she is finally getting the freedom that she deserves.
On another Momma note, she is taking more classes with me this semester, and I am so proud she is branching out on her own, and taking some classes all by herself.
Thats about here on the Roller Coaster for now, stay tuned for the Florida Files.

I had a visit to the ENT today after my bout with the sore thoat that lasted a little too long. After having a camera stuck up my nose and down my throat, he decided that they needed to come out. Well looks like Im gonna have about a week to recover before school starts....... Who gets their tonsils out at age 23?

Super Progress at the Homestead!
We are so lucky to live where we do, and be taken care of so well! We couldn't really ask for a better "landlord" than we have. Hap is such an amazing person. I have never met anyone so selfless, and I can see how Will's whole family turned out that way too. Givers, thats really what makes the world go around.
Anyways on to the progress, Hap has always allowed us to make improvements on the house and take it off of our "rent" which honestly is just our utilities and such, we don't have to pay any actual rent. The work that we do here, makes up for that. We have done alot in the past year, and its all kinda neat to look back at where we were then.
Our latest improvement has been the deck...... and I do mean deck! This thing is huge!! Its 32 foot long, and wow is it big, it isn't finished yet, but the progress is unbelievable, Will is basically doing it by myself, that is, if you don't count me. I can't wait to get it finished and see how it looks! I will get some pictures up tomorrow! :) Goodnight all.

The sore throat that I can't kick
Its back, this sore throat that I just can't beat, after a shot, and a round of 10 days of antibiotics, its got me down again.
I sure am glad I go to the best doctors office around, but Im sure they are tired of seeing me! They are nice girls, don't get me wrong, I just wish I was doing something a little more fun today.
